Careland started to develop the navigation software since 1999, and we are the first company with independent intellectual property rights of navigation engine in China. Careland start to develop China navigation map in 2000, in 2005 we obtain the A class qualification of China geographical mapping, and in 2006 we press the first navigable electric map with the coverage of whole China area. And the EIMS data shows that Careland also the number 1 GPS navigation software provider in the first half of 2007.

In recent 10 years, Careland makes close technical cooperation with Intel、Microsoft、SIRF、and those manufacturer in the front-end of the industry chain. Base on the excellent technical power Careland gain many honors and reorganizations: obtain the certification of ISO 9001:2000 quality system; we are one of the China digital land standard constitutor; we set many data standard on provincial and national standard; we get OGC Accreditation from international organization OpenGIS; we gain the special distribution award from US ESRI company. 

Now Careland has developed the first “complete coverage” navigation electric map in China, and software is excellent in reliability、usability、and user friendly interface design. We have supply to global top GPS manufacturers with our mobile GPS navigation system. Careland has more than 600 engineers in our professional mapping team, and over 200 R&D engineers in our designing team, we devote in collecting the precise map data and developing the excellent software performance.

Moreover, Careland has outstanding performance in GIS application field: we have developed the Geographical information system I-Spatial、the electrical government platform X-Bridge with our own intellectual property In accordance with the international software engineering standards. Base on I-Spatial and X-Bridge Careland developed the information administration system for the Department of land and resource、information administration system and relative software for city planning department.
