GIS-GPS and m Position /LBS have very wide-spreading prospects for every field in national/international commercial/military applications, including for the West Development in China and the development of NGN/NGI/NGBWM, 3G / 3G Evolution, WiMAX/WiFi, WPAN/UWB, etc., which is the basic infrastructure for using the advanced science and technologies. Its future is definitely very bright.
     An important opportunity is to catch the new development of the spectrum extension of new generation RNSS/GNSS in WRC-200x for pushing the fast development of the new generation GIS-GPS and m Position/LBS, as well as their various value added applications for every fields in China.
     In the process of developing the new GPS, m Position/LBS systems and the applications we should pay more attention to the self-independent IPR, Know how and innovation works for matching our own big potential market requirement in China and making the corresponding contributions to the international society.
