ABI Research attributes the inaccuracy of navigable real-time traffic data to three factors. One factor is the complexity of traffic data collection systems, such as ground sensing coils, radars, and cameras, which are of high cost and not easy to install. Floating cars and mobile data sources will be alternative traffic information collection devices. The other two factors are the traffic data integration and the market prospects.
