> Industrial News > News   Pet Tracking Gets Mainstream in the United States   Zoombak LLC, a Liberty Media company, announced today that its GPS Dog Locator is now available in 900 PetSmart stores across the United States. PetSmart is the largest specialty pet retailer in North America and is also the first national pet retailer to carry GPS locator technology for dogs. Weighing 2.5 ounces, Zoombak features a compact, water-resistant design and a rechargeable battery. The secure, interactive website lets owners create custom safety zones, set real-time alerts and generate on-demand locates. There is about 75 million dogs in the United States according to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association.
