The navigation software V2.2 is the latest version of 2008. It reacts more quickly and promptly than earlier versions and delivers more user-friendly operations. Comment: Issued by the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT) in October 2006, China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) is the standard for China mobile multimedia industry. It is China’s first self-developed mobile multimedia terminal system oriented to in-vehicle or portable application. With S wave, CMMB can fulfill the wide coverage from the air to the ground. Dominating the high-end PND navigation market in China, Shinco took the initiative to launch the GPS CMMB devices. Following MP3 and MP4, this is another breakthrough for portable navigation terminals developing toward multimedia convergence. It can be foreseen that the Beijing Olympics in two weeks will also heat the new Shinco devices. Moreover, Shinco will join hands with its digital map provider AutoNavi –China’s biggest map provider to lead the China navigation market for a long term.
